New NOTAM expiring sunset 29/6/25 has been approved……
The maximum permitted height for 7.5kg+ models is 1600′ ASL, within a radius of 1 Nautical Mile from the pits. This NOTAM is 7 days per week; from 30 minutes before sunrise each day, to 30 minutes after sunset.

NOTAM Renewal…..
Our existing NOTAM expires Sunset 31/12/2024.
A new NOTAM has been approved as follows:
- 01/01/2025 – 31/03/2025
- 7 days a week, Sunrise to Sunset
- Max altitude 1600 feet above sea level (WHMFC is 175 feet above sea level)
- Radius of 1 nautical mile from WHMFC.
If you see an aircraft breaking the NOTAM, please attempt to get the tail/registration number, and report it to the club Safety Officer.
Please continue to let the club Safety Officer know if you intend to fly a ‘large’ model ‘today’ as we often have calls from the RAF etc. regarding potentially planned incursions.

Altitude Exemption for larger models….
We now have the necessary exemptions in place to allow models of 7.5kg+ to exceed an altitude of 400′, running to 31/12/2024.
